  1. I absolutely kind of adore the atmosphere of these pictures;) The way you toy around with the different objects here is superduper pal! I like your continuity with the rooms and scenes…

I mean, I see these as quite raw at first. Straight forward and kind of dark. But looking at them more closely, they are warm indeed; expression wise. At the same time they are beautifully balanced in both composition and lighting. And through your choice of objects and angles, focus and the use of light and dark, I think you have succeeded to capture an interesting atmosphere. Even though it almost looks staged because of the clean and focused point of view, my feelings towards them are different. To me, it speaks of a narrator with a deeper meaning behind each shot and the series as a whole.

The pictures reveal a different reality and an interesting insight of a home. Its honest and straight forward. I can almost feel the roughness of the broom and the wall and the cold water in the sink. The different pictures intrigues me and I want to know more about story behind, and not at least, the people missing…
The absence of people is a nice touch, since every picture speaks of closeness and intimacy. The clear metaphor of the cards, the beer, the bottle of wine…

I mean, the motives with the bottle of wine together with the knocked over bottle of Vittel. The stack of cards, the pile of money on the floor and the two bottles of Strongbow dipping in the sink. Its beautiful;) The traces give a sense of presence and give me a feeling of friends and family hanging out at home.
The different symbols and the traces around the house make interesting scenes. It’s a really a captivating photo documentary.

again: I think there is really a lot of depth in this. Are you going to continue with this? Feel like sharing some thoughts? More about your idea and your story behind. I would like to hear more…

I wanna see prints. Exhibited. Yjjjum!
